đ¶ BPS Choir
Choir is a lively and welcoming ensemble that brings students together through the joy of singing, providing an opportunity to develop vocal skills, learn to sing in harmony, and perform as part of an ensemble. Through regular rehearsals and performances at assemblies, school events and Choir festivals, students build confidence, teamwork, and stage presence. Choir plays a special role in fostering a lifelong love of singing, while contributing to the cultural life of the school.Â

đ» Instrumental Music Program
Booragoon Primary School offers music tuition through the Department of Educationâs Instrumental Music School Services (IMSS) program. Student selection into the program is based on music aptitude testing, as well as criteria by IMSS staff.âŻChildren who meet the criteria receive weekly small-group lessons with specialist teachers, developing their technical and performance skills on a formal instrument. Those learning violin, viola, cello and double bass also participate in our Strings Orchestra, where they develop ensemble playing skills and musicianship.Â
