Student Services Team – Supporting Every Learner at Booragoon PS
At Booragoon Primary School, the wellbeing and success of every student is at the heart of what we do. Our Student Services Team plays a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students can thrive.
The team is led by our Deputy Principal, who works closely with staff and key support personnel to coordinate a range of programs and services. This collaborative team includes:
- School Psychologist – available Tuesdays (even weeks) and Thursdays
- Learning Support Coordinator – available Wednesdays and Thursdays
- School Chaplain – available Thursdays and Fridays
Together, the Student Services Team supports students through:
- Wellbeing and Mental Health Programs
Including social-emotional learning, pastoral care, resilience programs, and access to professional support. - Targeted Learning Support
Tailored academic assistance and intervention strategies for students with additional learning needs. - Behaviour and Engagement Support
Promoting positive behaviour, respectful relationships, and full participation in school life. - Inclusive Education Practices
Ensuring every student, including those with disabilities, learning difficulties, or EAL/D backgrounds, is supported and included. - Family and Community Partnerships
Working alongside families and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to student development.
